Thumb tacks, glass?
Now, I see on TNA that Abyss has his bag of tacks and glass and such… I want to know more about these weapons. The tacks look legit, are they? Are they made to have any kind of give in them. The glass? Tell me everything you know about glass and tacks. I’m not familiar with the miscellaneous weapons of wrestling, and those bums those guys take onto glass/tacks look pretty freakin sick man.

In most cases, the glass is ??suger glass??. I’m not sure if that’s the name, but its the same stuff they use in the movies when they crack beer bottles over each others heads.
It’s made to break easy but leave no sharp shards. If they take bumps on it, its jagged enough to press into the skin and stick..but NOT cut.
With tacks, at least in the case of Mick Foley, a few are real tacks but alot are silver metal tabs that’ll stick on the skin with a hard enough impact. The tabs will stick but not cut. The tacks will do….pretty much what you think the tacks will do.

When Abyss got those thumbtacks all over his face, I wanted to cry and puke at the same time. Ew.

I believe the glass is fake, but the tacks could be real because of the way they stick on to the wrestlers. When one of those tacks fall off, you’ll see a red mark on their face where the small puncture was.

real glass and real tacks, how can you tell? when Abyss slamms not shirt wearing wrestlers onto the tacks i have seen blood seeping from the wounds caused by them. in another case Abyss has himself had his arm start to bleed because to the amount of tacks once put into his tattooed arm. as for the glass Judas took a large piece and severed Abyss’ arm with it causing enough blood to cover it that Judas could lick it clean (that was fun to watch) I thinks it’s real cool when new weapons appear, i saw HHH use a screwdriver once, ouch
