How do i replace a screen for my sliding glass door?
I know replacing them is probably too much for me. So, how do i go about getting another one? where do i go to buy one?? It’s for the sliding glass door in my dining room.
thanks

Home Depot has them for less than $100.

If you want to tackle it, you can buy the screen in rolls of various sizes. They also make a special tool for reinstalling the seal.
You carefully pull the rubber seal around the edge out of the frame. It is usually in a groove around the edge of the screen.
If it is in good shape, you may be able to reuse it.
Otherwise, they sell it where the screen is sold.
Lowe’s, Home Depot, etc.
Then you lay it out on the patio or driveway flat.
Have your helpers hold the screen taut as you use the roller tool to put the rubber back in the groove to hold the new screen in.
Once the screen is installed, you can trim the outside with scissors or shears.
Good Job!

The screens are easy to replace. There are 4 “wheels” that the screen rides on. Each has an adjustment screw to raise and lower the wheel that rides in the track. Turn the screws on the top two to retract the wheels in. Then lift the screen out.
You could purchase new screen material and replace it yourself or just take it to Home Depot or Lowe’s and have them replace it.
If you need a whole new screen door, measure the outside dimensions and buy a new one.
