Can I get a candle out of the glass holder?
I really dont like the way it looks when candles are in glass cup looking things… I like the “raw” look…
Well, I got a few candles as a gift but they are in the glass cup thingy… its not like a jar where the top is smaller than the bottom, its just goes around the candle (the top of the cup is flush with the top of the candle)… is there a way to pry the candle out of the glass cup?

You can but if the candle is intended to be a votive, it is designed to fully melt when lit. That means that if it is not contained in the votive glass jar you will have a mess of melted wax. To get it out, simply put it in the freezer for a while and it should pop out.

Hi : )
If “Eskie’s” advice does not work — try this instead:
Place the candle on some spread out newspapers [maybe outside] and gently GENTLY tap the glass holder until it cracks… once the glass cracks, you may be easier able to remove the candle. Just be SUPER CAREFUL that you don’t cut yourself.
HOWEVER, these “bare” candles will probably only be good for decorative use only — like she said, above:
If you try lighting them, you will get melted wax all over your table!
: ) Good luck! : )
