Etched Glass by Ales Lombergar
Slovenia Weekly, March 13th 2001
A historicist etched glass featuring the allegory of a stage play adorns the door of the Slovenian Philharmonic building in Ljubljana. It is a copy – the original dates from the end of the 19th century – made by Slovenia’s Ales Lombergar, one of the few artists dealing with glass etching in Europe today. His works are currently exhibited in Ljubljana.

Fascinating work Ales. It is rewarding to practice a skill that not many people know.
