Well, maybe you don’t think that it’s feasible to get a convertible but you’d still like to look up and see blue sky, when you’re driving down the road. Not to mention feel the wind coming down and blowing in your face.
I think that it’s a fantastic idea.

The Panoramic sunroofs are intended to make a car interior seem larger, and more like a convertible, but are quieter, safer, and more weatherproof than a fabric top.
On some vehicles these are a full-sized operable multi-pane glass sunroofs, or like the 911 Targa, a large single panel, while other makes use a single pane of fixed glass. The fixed glass types are less likely to leak and are usually reduced in interior area due to the structure of the car.

Because to most people that have a sunroof, they wish theirs was just a little bit bigger. I know I wish mine was. So they just made almost the whole roof the sunroof. Also, it lets more light into the car.

They do it because people buy them.
