Glass bottles can take 1,000 years to decompose. Plastic bags decompose in 10 to 20 years. Alkaine batteries are perhaps the most harmful to the environment but information on their rate of decomposition is not forthcoming. Tin cans rust pretty easily and can be turned to nothing in the rain and air in maybe 10 years I’d say. The rust basically just eats away at it until theres nothing left.
