Whats the technical term for a large glass door that opens out to a balcony?
I really need to know. And please don’t just say ‘glass door’. I’m almost positive that there’s a fancy name for it!

My girlfriend just built a house, and her builder called that kind of door “paladium”

If its two doors that open like double doors, then its a french door. If its like a big window and it slides its a slider.

Often it is called “Patio Door”.
The type of patio door that we have is called “French Door” though it is not made in France. No one calls it patio door once it is a French door.

If it is a single sliding glass door it’s a patio door. Double, hinged doors are French doors
