What year was Domestos bleach packaged in brown glass bottles?
My mum found a brown glass bottle with Domestos bleach written on it. We would like to know when they were in use or if there are any web sites with the information on.

Domestos arrived on the grime scene in 1929. It was originally sold in stone-ware jars that were refilled by door-to-door salesmen.
In the 1950s Domestos made a stand on health education in Britain – introducing public awareness campaigns helping to teach people how to prevent typhoid, dysentery and gastroenteritis. So the Bottle may be of that era.

the year was 1956 this was the year that was hard to get a decent drink . some people liked the taste of bleach .so the manafacturers made a nicer looking bottle that looked like a bottle of stout this way tramps would drink it in the street .and it made there breath smell a lot better
