Maybe a razor blade scraper? I’m not positive that will work, but you can try it. Just be careful that you don’t scratch the glass. Also, you can check the stain can and see what they tell you to use to clean up with. Then try getting the stain off the glass with that. Just be sure not to get it on your wood or you could dissolve some of your stain. I think I would try the clean up method before I tried the scraper. You can always touch up an accident on the door, but you can’t get rid of a scratch on the glass.

Whatever the can of stain said to use for brush cleanup should work.
Just put some on a rag and wipe down. wipe with water then glass cleaner.
Most stains can be removed with mineral sprites or Turpentine.
Check your container.

Place some paint thinner on a piece of cloth and VERY carefully rub into the area affected. Rinse with a cloth dampened with water. This should take care of the problem.

About Me
ALES LOMBERGAR is one of the few artisans in Europe who still practice the ancient art of glass acid etching which flourished in the late 19th century. Decorations are applied with resin resists by hand and then exposed to acid baths, with no machinery used. More information here.
