Enthalpy of fusion for ice is 6.01 kJ/mole. If 40.0g of ice is placed in a glass containing 250.0g of water at 30C. (Remember that you will have 40.0g of water at 0C from after the ice melts).

Doesnt it depend on the tempuature where the glass is? If it is in a cold room with ice, the temerature of the water will be colder. If it was outside on a porch in Florida in the summer your ice melts faster and your water is warmer.
