What is a good way to get rid of burnt glass using house hold materials? [see details inside]?
I have a candle and its in a glass vase type a thing right? Well one night the flame got really big and made the glass all black and I washed it and scrubbed it but it won’t come off. What are somethings I can use to get rid of it without harming the glass?
PS: The candle is still inside it so i can’t summerge the whole thing and its only on the top.

you can still submerge under water. It will not harm the candle if you let the wick dry. warm or hot soapy water should take it right off.

On a small area of glass. try one of the acid based oven cleaner liquids to see if it will eat the carbon, remember to wear gloves and apply it in a well ventilated room.

Dampen a paper towel and sprinkle it with a little baking soda. Rub the burned area, then wipe it with a clean damp cloth to remove the soda residue. Baking soda can clean lots of things without scratching them.
