What are acid etched grab bars?
Where can I buy these bars? I cannot locate a store that sells them?

They are the bars you install in your shower that aren’t shiny, and are acid etched so you can get a grip on them, versus slipping off and killing yourself in the shower.

It’s a type of slip resistant finish, it’s not a specific type of grab bar. It’s very nice looking, not as cheesy as knurled, also not as slip resistant as knurled. We have always needed to special order them (from Wing-its, curiously it’s not on their website). Keep in mind that if this is for building code purposes, it need not be specifically acid-etched, it needs to be ‘roughned’, such as knurled which is FAR easier to find.
