because of air buld up and it causes the molucules in the pop to expand causeing it to explode.

Glass is permeable. There are tiny little pore things in/on glass (that we obviously can’t see) that allow allow some things to escape and other stuff to enter (like oxygen). Aluminum, tin, and plastic, however don’t allow as much stuff through (if any at all), so the “build-up” in those containers would be greater, resulting in a more violent reaction. With the glass container, some of the stuff may have escaped, resulting in less pressure inside and a less violent reaction.
