So the other day i was drinking something from a glass bottle. After a few sips I felt something in my mouth..
Turns out it was glass! I pulled more than 10 shards of glass out of my mouth. We checked the bottle and it wasn’t chipped or broken anywhere. We have tried to reach the people who make the product, so far we have yet to hear anything from them. Can anyone offer me any advise on what I should do next?

If there was no damage to the bottle, contact the police and continue to try to contact the company. Someone may have intentionally put pieces of glass into your drink, which obviously is a crime. If it was unintentional (or if the person responsible is an employee), the company needs to know that it has a potential problem. If they continue to ignore you and other cases are discovered, your report to the police and documented attempts to contact the company will be important to any potential lawsuits down the road.
If you are concerned that you may have swallowed some glass, go see your doctor.
If you are not satisfied with the company’s response or want them to pay for your doctor’s exam and possible x-rays, talk to an attorney.

Since the bottle was opened, you can’t prove that it was already in there. And, since you weren’t injured, you wouldn’t have a case anyway. Sorry.

Let us know what the product is so it doesn’t happen to any of us or are kids if it’s something they can drink/get ahold of. Then contact a lawyer. I hope you have solid proof though. Good luck!
