Oven door etched/scratched my Mr Muscle oven cleaner – how do I removed etching?
Fist off, I now know not to use Mr Muscle on it. Whirlpool say dont use it Mr Muscle said check with maker.
Anyway, it has some slight marking of the outer oven glass door, and if you run your finger nail over it in part you can feel some roughness.
Any sugestions?

You could polish out the scratches, but this would be a very time consuming and labor intensive job.
Easiest would be to buy new glass from the manufacturer and replace it.

very fine sand paper ??I used mr muscle, years ago on my new sink and tapes, it took all the chrome off the taps

You could try using a sloution of vinegar and water, alternatively buy some jewellers rouge, if you can grind a small amount to a powder . dab some on to your soft cloth, and try working in a circular motion over the glass scratches if you cannot grind it down, you can rub it on the soft cloth, but this might take a long time to work a large area of glass.
