Looking for glass butler sytle kitchen cabinets or cabinet doors.?
Hi, I’ve been looking for the old glass cabinets that were used in a butler pantry years ago and that go up to the ceiling. I’ve searched locally at antique shows, ebay, etc. and am still searching. Does anyone know where I can order something vintage like that online? I’m even open to just finding the cabinet doors as well. Thanks.

I’ve seen the shorter style @ Lowe’s. Maybe they can do a special order? You may want to check out some local auctioneers or realtors that specialize in older homes and antiques. And tell them what you are looking for and leave your contacting info. Run an ad in the local paper- anyone updating their kitchen that you are looking for this type of cabinet and/or doors. someone may be glad to give them to you for a song- just so they don’t have to haul them off!

They have some with a vintage look at IKEA but I don’t know how big the glass you need is. Have you thought about going to a demolition company and asking them? Usually a contractor will strip the house of old architectural points (like crown molding or doors) and then provide them to a reseller. It would be worth a shot.
One other idea – find an architect who specializes in restoration design, and ask him or her where they would get it if they were doing a built-in

hi. You need to search architectural salvage shops not antique stores. You will find exactly what you are looking for there. There are many listed, do a search. If you want replica cabinets, restoration hardware.
