Is your glass………Half Full or Half Empty?
If you had a full glass of whatever and drunk half, i would say the glass was half empty, if it was poured fresh half way up then it would be half full!!
What do you think?

now if you drunk only half would mean the drink was not tasty. while if it was poured only halfway up wolud mean the wine’s expensive.

It’s both. You had a full cup and drunk half, then it’s half full, but at the sametime it’s half empty because you drunk half. Duh!!!

Half full if you’ve only poured half a glass, and half empty if you poured a full glass and drank half of it. Then you can make it full again by cutting the empty half off with a glass-cutter.

If I was in a bar and the barman filled my glass half way up I’d say half empty.
If I was at a job interview and the boss put a glass in front of me filled half way up I’d say it was half full.
If I was half dead of thirst in the desert and I found a glass with any water in it at all I’d just drink it.
