Is the glass half empty or half full? my opinion…?
is this: if it were full in the first place and you poured half of the substance out, wouldnt it be half empty? and if it were empty and you poured the substance only half of the way, wouldnt it be half full?
dont get me wrong either way the first glass is still half full and the second is half empty, but doesnt it make more sense this way? i know this isnt a big deal, but i like to analyze.

well…its just the way u see it…if ur positive..half full for u..if u say empty…means u got negative things in ur mind..i mean thats what i read somewhr..for me it depends whether the drink inside is healthy or not :o)

There is a third viewpoint on that: The glass is twice as large as it needs to be.

I think that it would be half full because how can you have half of empty? What I mean is how can you have half of nothing when nothing in itself is nothing. Its like asking “What’s half of 0”. The answer 0. Still nothing. Whereas if you ask what is half of 1 then the answer would be 0.5. So the glass can be half full. Or is that confusing…? (I think that probability comes into this)

If it had vodka in, it means you haven’t drunk enough yet.

How come we never hear 1/4 full or empty or 1/3 full or empty etc. Why is it always 1/2?
