I think it was Michael. On lostpedia.com someone says that they know what the whole article says. In it they say that the person was from New York, and survived by one teenage son. Both signs point to Michael.

I think its Jonathan Locke. Cause you know it had the -anathon on the news article. And plus, since everybody didnt like Locke trying to stop Jack from getting them of the Island, they probalby wouldnt want to go to his funeral.
