If you say drink at least 8 8 oz. glass of water a day, is it ok to replace that with hot tea?
I mean like, i kno you need to drink a lot of fluid (preferably water); 8 glass of water a day at least, does it mater what fluid it is? is tea the same? I drink black tea, and green tea.

NO – - clear water works THE BEST!
Black tea and green tea have caffeine- – so you’re loading up on caffeine.
Is that really good?

It’s acceptable to replace water with tea…as long as you don’t sweeten the tea with sugar, honey, or artificial sweetners.

Tea isnt really a substitute for water……………even Black and Green tea has its aqivalent to caffiene, known as Tannine(?)
There really is no substitute for clear, fresh water. And if you cant manage 8 glasses a day…do the best you can.

tea has cafine depending on what kind. it dehydrates you.. drink twice as much water as you do tea. if you dont like just the plain taste of water try adding flavor packets

As long as the 8 ounces are made up of only tea. (only add milk if you already have 8 ounces of tea)

You can’t replace water with anything. Your body needs it to function properly. Tea is good too but try to drink water whenever possible.

Tea is ok, especially black tea and green tea. If you want milk, go for the skimmed. Apparently, tea is full of antioxidants too, so is probably more beneficial than just water. And if you can drink decaffeinated tea, all the better as you won’t get the diuretic effect or addicted to caffeine.
