I have quite a bit of depression glass, and I would like to know how to go about getting it valued?
I may or may not want to sell some of it. Either way I need to have it valued at least for insurance purposes. Some of the glass is quite rare, but I don’t know what the established value would be. I have looked online, but I can’t tell much about what I have that way. I live in Phoenix, does anyone know what options I have?

Get it appraised at an antique dealer. Better yet, have a couple of appraisals done. One thing I have found helpful is checking similar items on E-bay to see what it’s selling for. This will at least give you a ballpark figure.
If you are trying to get it valued for insurance, check with your ins. company to see who they recommend for appraisals (you don’t have to go with their choice, but it gives you some info…).
You might swing over to Sun City to check with antique dealers there. Since that is a senior community, they may have better answers for you.

the word is appraised. You need to get it appraised. check your local phone book for an antique shop or appraisal office.
