I have an old glass top table and the corners need smoothing?
the corners on my glass top table need to be smoothed as the are chipped from years of use. How do i do it?

wet dry sand paper, on a block and wet… finer and finer until you get where you need to be, oh don’t forget the beer and the porno film, you’re gonna be there for a while…

Take the glass top outside. run a garden hose while you sand it with wet sandpaper. You can wrap the sandpaper around a block of wood to protect your hands. Start with 120 grit, then 180, then 220, higher grit if needed. Make sure you wear gloves. I don’t recommend electric sanders. Their too harsh.

I’ve seen glass guys use belt sanders to smooth the edge of glass before.

wet & dry emery paper is great for this job / just be careful
