I am having trouble finding spray paint for use on glass.?
Can any spray paint be used to spay paint glass? Or does it have to be something special. If it does need to be something special, can someone maybe tell me a brand that has a good color selection? The one glass spray paint I have found only had the 3 primary colors.
Also, I am NOT looking for frosted colors.

Could you use the translucent glass frosting spray as a primer? Then you could apply colors over that, scrape off an over-spray of the primer. You didn’t specify if this was for something temporary or permanent. Opaque or translucent?
Looking for paint in cans or are you planning to use a sprayer or air brush?

this is kind of a puzzle for me, i paint on glass sometimes, but i sand the dickens out of it for tooth and use a good bonding primer and then a polyurethane enamel, or a gilding process. the old way of gold leafing glass (and we didn’t have to sand for tooth) was to use those old clear gelcaps from a pharmacy (they were sold empty in lots of 100), we’d melt them in a bit of water over a sterno can. that was clear enough to not inhibit the goldleaf. are you sure you do not want to do a baked on stained glass process, nothing about colouring glass is quick and easy

If you have a Michael’s craft store near you, They have nearly every variety of spray paint, Krylon has a glass specific spray paint which may work well. If you cant find the paint IN the spray paint section, ask a store worker, sometimes the paint is displayed with the stained glass/glass painting kits.

Hi:
You might also try Peabo Vitrea glass paints. These are not spray on, but you might be able to thin them enough to use a pump sprayer or atomizer. Check out Dick Blick’s as one source for these. Hope this helps.

Look for XIM flashbond 400 clear auto primer.
Spray this on the glass and any lacquer will adhere.
We used to do a lot of this commercially.
