How to separate a smaller glass stuck inside a pint glass?
Hi all, I have done something dumb, I have got one of those glasses they are giving away free at MacDonalds and I have placed it inside a pint glass and it is stuck really good! Any ideas how to separate them without breaking a glass. I feel a bit stupid asking this but it has me beaten at the moment!!

Putting cold water in the small glass, and standing the large glass in hot water is probably the best solution, but make sure the hot water is not too hot, as it may shatter the large glass.

Try pouring cold water into the small glass and then standing the pint glass in hot water, any minor expansion/contraction may be enough

try pouring very cold water in the small glass while the large glass is standing in hot water. never tried it, but it may work

Fill the pint glass up with cold water then insert the whole unit into hot water.
the inside will contract whilst the outside will expand. If it does not crack then you will be ok

Spray them with WD40, wait a couple of mins and gently pull apart.

Fill the inside glass with ice and water and then sit the two glasses in a pan of hot water. The inside glass will contract and the outside one will expand and they should come apart without breaking.

Soak both glasses in REALLY HOT soapy water, the heat should make the air inside the glasses expand enough to help break the seal and the soap will help slide them apart. Try twisting the inner glass gently while holding the outer one to work them apart.

let them sit till they are totally dry and they will pop apart.

. . . Wrap the pint glass in kitchen roll and stuff it inside until both the little glass and the pint glass are full.
Then hit the pint glass with a hammer until it breaks and lift the little glass out.
Go back to McDonalds for another little glass.
Then you’ve got a pair! . . .

Put the jumbled mess into a bowl or sink of soapy water. If that doesn’t work, add a little olive oil. Once the soap or oil penetrate, it should be easy to separate them.

slide a bar straw between the two, submerge in cold water and blow in the straw.
