How to remove stickers from glass windows which are heated by the heat of the sun?
hi there, In my room i’ve stuck some sticker which is a size of A4 papers. And i’m trying to remove them but if i pull them out there will be some left still stuck, so i want to remove the whole sticker easily. Please try to tell me about chemicals which are present in home (salt, lemon, vinegar etc.) which will help to remove them.
By the way, I know that if there are stickers stuck on glass and heated it will be permanent.so i don’t need the explaination of it.
thanks!

WD-40 and a Razor. Works like MAGIC!!!
Spray WD-40 liberally on the gooey mess and let it sit for a couple minutes…then scrape off with the razor.

Try a razor to scrape it off or spray it with cooking spray (Pam) and then wipe off. Good luck.

wd-40 works very well. if the stickers are plastic it may take a while for they to come lose.

Using Eucalyptus oil will do the trick but make sure there is plenty off ventilation. Mind you if you have a cold the fumes will certainly clear that up.

Glass is a smooth hard surface, nothing should be permanent.Stickers sit on top. Get a hairdryer on low heat warm the glass and stickers then peel. Any glue left over use WD-40 or car wax then use vinegar &warm water. 1 part vin–10 or 12part water.

GooGone, GoofOff, Oops…..any of the 3 are readily available from the local grocery, hardware, drugstore etc….
Any of the 3 work like magic when trying to get sticky, oily or dried on “stuff” off surfaces. Not expensive and it only takes a little.

Just about everyone’s given you the remedy:
Glass is impenetrable, glue/whatever is on surface, WiLL come off.
Goo-gone product works like a charm to dissolve sticky stuff; once applied, use single-edged razor blade to remove sticker.
Low heat will also dissolve glue; use in combination w/razor blade. LoW heat: high heat will crack glass.
After removal, polish it off w/a distilled Vinegar cleaning!

First of all, I would suggest getting some hot water and just soaking the stickers with a rag. You might want to get some gloves so the water can be at it’s hottest.
Whatever goo that doesn’t come off, spray down with wd-40 and scrape with a straight blade. It would be easier using this with a handle attached… and safer. You can get them at your local hardware store.
Expect a nice oily mess on the window – dish soap and water will cut the grease. Finish off with a paper towel and windex.

Hi – You’ve already been given the best answer but I’ll give it again.
Goo-Gone is the best product on the market (in my opinion) for removing any type of gooey substance from just about anything.
First, wet the paper part of the sticker and remove as much as you can, then the Goo-Gone will remove the rest.
Use a good cleaning cloth, dab some of the goo-gone on the cloth & rub it.
Good luck!

Steam it off
Grassy is an engineer.
Glues are either water based or oil based, therefore soaking it in water can remove it or using lighter fluid for oil based glues.

I sprayed the stick on transfers with WD40.
Wiped them over with eucalyptus oil which softened them. They were then easily and quickly removed with a sharp razor. Wiped the glass with soapy water and dried with a paper towel. Perfect result thank you.
