How to clean a Glass Range top?
Ok, Ive read many of the other answers on how to clean a glass top range. But mine has texture dots on the range, and this is where the stains are… and I’m worried that scraping with a razor will remove the texture? Anyone have any suggestions that don’t require a razor?

I have a white glass top stove and never use a razor. I don’t have texture on it, but I was told to use a scratch pad. The blue color, because it’s not as abrasive and won’t scratch the glass and use a product called Cerama Bryte. You can purchase it at Lowes for like $5. Just use a little bit. I usually put one pea size dot per burner and with your damp sponge scratch pad it gets everything off. May take a little bit for some things, but with elbow grease on top of the cleaner it always gets mine looking brand new. I’ve had mine for 5 years now and it still looks bright white and shiny. Remember after you get it cleaned wipe off with the sponge and then take a dry paper towel and buff til shiny.

I know this sounds odd but it works, I use Shower Shine by Scrubbing Bubbles.I know its for the shower but it really does help with the dimples in the cook top.I spray and let set for about 3 minutes and wipe clean.I rinse it with a clean cloth so as to avoid food contamination it also helps against grease splatters I learned.P.S. This stuff also works great on my mirrors and glass top tables. Hope this helps.

WEIMAN Glass Cook Top cleaner at Wal-Mart.
For regular maintenance…Try this cleaning cloth. You have to buy in packages of 5 but they are only like $3 bucks a piece. I have ordered them and use them on everything, especially cleaning windows and clean mirrors. They are made out of tiny fibers. They are guaranteed not to scratch and all you do is rinse the cloth under water, wring it out and wipe ANY surface with no streaks or scratch. Use em over and over. I have not thrown one away yet!
I even waxed my car with it! I am sold on this …I encourage you to try it out.
