How much will it cost for vivarium glass?

I’m costing building a vivarium, does anyone know approximately how much 400x620mm of glass 4mm thick will cost? (with smooth edges)

It should not cost anymore than Â£10/15.00, in get mine done at a local mirror/glass shop (new malden).

From what i can tell, vivarium is just a new word for terrarium, for keeping reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates.
since water preasure is not an issue, then double strength glass should be fine. 400mm x 620mm = 15 3/4 inch x 24 7/16 inch =2.7 square feet, round up to 3 square feet. Your cost from a glass supplier should be $17.49 US dollars.

If you want pollished edges, they charge per liniar inch…so you will pay…A LOT more.

Hey Blondie….what are you keeping in that vivarium..a spiny iguana. If you went to a glass works and asked…they would probably say 400x620mm and 4mm thick will be quite expensive.
