Avoid putting them in water…The water will create a vacuum and you may wind up breaking the glass. Instead, place them on the counter to dry. Once they are dry place them in the refrigerator (not freezer) for a few hours. You should be able to easily pull them apart at that time because the cooling process will cause glass to contract faster than ceramic.

Did you try soaking them in water. Be careful. I have been cut trying to seperate two drinking cups apart.

hold the glass at the top and the mug at the bottom and firmly but gently pass them over the egde of ur kitchen worktop, always worked for me when glasses stuck together, have worked in bars for 9 years
