How do you find volume of glass, cork, and glass? (Please read below)?

!) How do you find the volume of granulated sugar?

2)How do you find the volume of a cork stopper?

3) How would the volume of a piece of glass as measured by displacement of water compare with its volume as measured by displacement of burner fuel?

    1) How do you find the volume of granulated sugar?
by how much the liquid level rises, when it is added to a graduated cylinder with gasoline, pet ether, or mineral spirits

    2) by how much the water level rises in a graduated cylinder, when it is tied with thread to a lead weight whose volume was already below the liquid level, such that it is held submerged too

    3) no difference

By displacement in a fluid that does not dissolve it.

    2. By holding it under water with a thin wire, which has negligible volume compared with the cork.
