How do I clean grease marks on frosted glass, (Underside of my coffee table)without ruining it?

I have a glass coffee table which has frosted glass on the underside. It has some greasy marks on it and am not sure what I should use?

Dawn dish washing liquid, It will cut the grease and not harm the frosted glass.

Try newspaper, it works good. Don’t even need any chemicals, just the newspaper.

ajax with warm water to clean, then a dry towel to dry it without it getting streaky

But can I ask…… how the hell did you get a greasy UNDERSIDE of the table!?!? interesting!

Any good cleaner with a degreasing surfactant in it. If it is automobile grease, you may have to use Goop Hand cleaner first, ( Just rub it on and let it set for a few minutes ), followed by something like Formula 409. I would prefer the 409 for any grease stain in this situation as it is a spray that is easy to apply. Wipe with paper towels, and follow up with Sparkle or Windex glass cleaners. Hope this helps–Jed

I have the same problem with etched cabinet glass next to my stove. So it has cooking grease. I have tried everything to no avail. Denatured alcohol, acetone (that worked for a while), grease relief. I think I need to switch out the glass. good luck
