How can maggots live at the bottom of a glass of rubbing alcohol, vodka, rum etc. for hours without dying?
magots can also live in a glass of bleach and hydrogen peroxide for a while. How do they breath?

They can’t live in these liquids for more than maybe a minute. Either you have diluted solutions of these or you’ve found atomic powered maggots. Some of these liquids even kill human tissue if they are concentrated. (They breathe through their skin and through tiny holes along side their bodies.)

They can’t but they do breathe through their skin.

ah i will testify just opened a cooler for the first time in months and drowned a bunch of maggots in the first thing on hand, unopened 90% alcohol. they just swam around for like an hour. gonna check again in the morning but thats the only reason im here. so atomic maggots might be a thing lmao
