How can I apply tinted glass on cars?
Can someone explain to me how to apply tinted glass? I don’t want to go to a shop too expensive, plus i want to learn how to do it so i would be able to apply tinted as a part time if everything goes well. Thanks.

First make sure the windows are spotless of any contamination, (dirt dust etc)
Cut the window tint just a bit bigger than the glass it will be applied to, make sure the clear plastic is window side in, get two pieces of tape on a corner of the tint to find out which is the tint & the clear plastic.
Go buy a good hobby knife to cut the tint & a good quality rubber squeegee to push the air out from between the tint & glass, also a pressure bottle like a pump up type to spray a light soapy water on the glass & exposed tint, keep very wet untill you have got the tint in position, then using the squeegee gently press from the centre of the glass to the edge untill all the soapy water solution & air have been removed this can take up to 1 hour, patience is needed as rushing it will ruin it. finally trim up the tint to your satisfaction. Dont wind the windows up or down once finshed as it needs time to settle & stick.
If you need anymore help email me & good luck.

I found that using a soap and water mixture and a squeegee to apply tint is best. This will allow you to move the tint around for best fit and when properly squeegeed into place will help tint hold longer and better then without. Make sure to leave a small 1/16 to 1/8 inch gap from top edge of glass if window rolls up. Also at top of edge cut at an angle to thickness of tint to let tint into weather seal.
