How are some people able to bite, chew and swallow glass? Do they really eat it?
How are some people able to bite, chew and swallow glass? Do they really eat it?
I saw a chap on the telly eat a pint glass – he bit into it, chewed it and swallowed it and consumed the whole glass. How on earth do they do this? Doesn’t it tear up their mouth and throat. And … how do I put this delicately? – where does it go? Does it pass out of the body in the usual fashion? And surely it hurts when it does?
Ouch! I am wincing just thinking about this.
Please tell me how they do it?

I saw this program about that and if they are doing it to performance they find some way of “disposing of it”. But sometimes they do actually eat it and you can VERY ill from it. Last year someone died.
it does hurt, I guess.

When people do this they use a thin glass, sort of like that of a light bulb. This will break easy and when it does break it does in very small pieces. Then the chewing actually makes it even smaller so that is end up being just like sand and there is no danger of being cut. The only dangerous part of this is the initial biting and cutting a lip.

Don’t know what your on about. Eating glass is perfectly healthy and normal. I mix coarse ground glass into my food every 2 days. It keeps me regular and helps me lose weight. I have lost 28kg in 2 weeks from doing this. The only side affects are it making your stool quite lumpy with large grissley bits, but it is nit painful.
