..Hi all ive just constructed a glass floor that sits on the existing floor and wanted to light it up from the sides to show a effect that the whole glass panel has lighten up from under the glass ….however ive tried to with a standard tube light however the glass does not catch the light to show light effect and you just get a bit of dull light on the sides. how can this be done what lighting should I use? the glass is 15mm and 15mm laminated glass with a frosted top…thanks to all that read and answer……have a nice day all

Hi, it sounds like you need some fibre optic neon strips that will fit into the gaps . Depending on how you constructed it they should be almost invisible . They are quite specific and expensive but i have used them on a shop fit and they do the job

how large is the floor? was your tube light installed with reflectors? if its not too large and you installed it with reflectors, you may try angling the tube light with its reflector to best illuminate the whole floor. one tube light may not do the trick, however.
