I'm not happy with the in the hood filter on my Eclipse 5 gallon hex tank. I want to use a glass hood or a plastic one and simply place the light on the glass hood and use a small power filter on the back, it will fit I have it.
But I can't find a glass hood to fit this tank. Can you help me find where to buy one? Thanks. |

I had the same problem with my 90G hex. I bought some plexiglass and made my own lid. this will only work if you have a flourescent light. Don't use plastic with an incandescent (regular light bulb), gets too hot and melts.
