ELMERS GLUE
If its still sticking out a wee bit- put some elmers glue on it- let it dry fully (this will take a while) and pull it off, the glass splinter will usually come out

it’ll take about a day but soon your body will push it out naturally if nothing works, just don’t mess with it or you’ll make it go deeper

get a sewing needle or something like it and dig the sucker out! Then clean with an antibiotic ointment

You need a magnifying glass, tweezers and lots of light. Have a friend do it for you. It’s a bit painful.

use a safety pin or something small and sharp to cut the skin where the glass is and squeeze it out.. or try using tweezers.

You need to go to E.R. immediately or else it can get worse.

Have you tried superglue?
Put a dab of superglue on the area and let it dry. Then peel off the superglue and hopefully the glass sliver will come with it. If it doesn’t, you should probably go to urgent care.
Good luck!

go to see doctor a.s.a.p, it could becomes very serious, the glass could move to your heart or other place through the vein

I got fiberglass in my finger once from those rods they have on top of fire hydrants. It was like little clear splinters.
I know this is not the same as a fiber of glass, but depending on the size you could try what I did…
I remember using tape (masking I think) to pull them out. Now that I think of this, it was probably very unsafe, but it worked.
If the pieces can be seen, you could try and tweeze them out with tweezers, but be careful to get the whole thing out.
If that doesn’t work, you should contact a doctor.

Hot water will help – not running water, though, just fill up a tub or something. Not sure if that gets ‘em out or just makes ‘em feel better. The splinters should be gone in a few days.
Try a paste of baking soda rubbed on the affected areas–works with invisible cactus spines

Epsom salts speeds up the process, definetely. It is an ages old cure for drawing stuff out. Hot water alone won’t do anything

You need to see your doctor ASAP. Since it is impossible to see, then you can’t be sure it all is removed. (Fiberglass is very dangerous.) A doctor has special equipment to be able to see the fine particles. If not removed soon, it can become infected and can be difficult to treat. Also, you may need a tetanus shot if you haven’t had one in 10 years.

Try glue or maybe some tape. The glass should stick to those and pull right out.

If you can’t see or reach it, it’ll likely heal over, which is A BAD THING. Instead of waiting for advice on here, get yourself to someone i.e. your local ED who can get to it (will quite probably need to make a small incision and may want to do an XRay to ensure it’s all out, depending on the size). This is even more important if the glass was in any way dirty which, unless you are currently working in a sterile lab, is going to be the case, and consequently you risk infection. You may need a booster on your tetanus status too if this hasn’t been done in the last 10 years (your local hospital may have a 5 year protocol). Go now and get it sorted (and try not to bang it as, on top of the pain, if it breaks further inside, there may be pieces they are unable to get to).

Okay, I don’t know if this still works…but it’s worth a try. Run your hand through your hair a few times, see if that does the trick. I used to twirl tall flag in high school, and I always got fiberglass splinters. Good luck!

u need to keep proxide on it to at least keep it from being infected and causing problems. if u dont want to go the the doctor, u will need to get someone to take some tweezers onced they have been cleaned, and get some one to pull it out for u… but u do need to go to the doctor because there may be a piece that u dont see or feel that needs to be removed
