Glass from sand, yes we knew this. Thanks all?
At what temperature does sand melt? Is there any way to do this at home without a forge. And in making small glass bricks? Is this at all possible?

sand melt at 850°C to 1,723°C (1,562° F to 3,133°F )
I don’t think you will able to make glass at home. I just can’t think of anything you can find in your house give off that much heat.
