Glass Block Windows – With, or without vents?
Im having glass block windows installed. Should I get the kind with vents, or without? Which is better, and why?

I’m a mason contractor, I would recommend getting the vents put in. you can open them from inside and move the air around. I have installed them before it is really easy for them to put a vent in. They are only 8 inch wide to open so a person can not fit inside them. It will help with circulating the air around, if it is damp, or on a hot day if you do laundry in the base ment.

I don’t even know what you mean by vents. I would go with the regular ones that are sealed all the way around to prevent moisture getting in. You don’t need to vent a basement window that I know of.
