What Is The Most Simple Way To Etch Glass On…Say A Wine Glass. Im Thinking About Making A Gift For My Boyfriend. And How About The Stencil. Whats The Best Way To Do That?

Well, it’s traditionally done with acid or fluride compounds. You can find these in large craft stores. You have to first coat the object with wax and carve out the design with a sharp object, then apply the acid.
If that’s too hard, use a very fine dremmel tool and carve it.
And many places do custume etching for you.

There is a fairly cheap kit that uses compressed air – try Michaels (a craft store in the USA). Their kit basically uses a can of compressed air, plus sand, to abrade the glass. I think that they give you some stencils in the kit, too.
