in a 10 gallon, that’s getting pretty cozy.
tank size is fine for the female betta.
is it a pair of dwarf gourami you have or just one?
bettas and gourami’s are distant relations and aggressive towards each other.
they may just be working out pecking order. but really your tank is going to be a bit cozy in that tank, making it a little bit stressful for all the little guys

No, they’re the betta & gourami are both splendins… They’re from the same family of fish, all of wich have a relatively low tolerance for each other. They are an incompatable mix. They will be antagonistic to each other until someone dies no matter how big a tank you put them in.
The glass cats should go in fine with any of those other fish. Dunno why the dwarf is nipping at it.

Female betta tend to be pretty peaceful towards non betta. Gourami are closely related and they have been know to cause issues. Another Dwarf gourami may make things worse as the males tend to fight each other. (Female dwarfs are small and grey, and the males tend to be wife beaters.) At this point you might want to wait and see if things settle a bit. Also be sure there are lots of hiding spots in the tank.
