Difference between orginary glass and drinking glass?
What will happen if somebody drinks from any tumbler made og ordinary glass of cheap quality. Is there any special thing in the material fom which the drinking glass are made? What could be the side effects of drinking from glass made from cheap quality glass? Is there any risk of poisoning or any other reaction?

I believe that glass panes and drinking glasses are made of common soda glass as well as soda bottles. Some drinking glasses are made of leaded cut glass that can leach out toxic lead if the drink sets too long in them. That is why wine may be poured from a cut glass decanter for an elegant meal but should not be stored in the decanter. Clear leaded glass may contain perhaps 40% lead which is easier to cut and polish but rarely cheap. Cheap glass may have unknown additives that are toxic. At one time drinking glasses were decorated with lead bearing paints that should be avoided.
