Anyone know artists doing work similar to Chihuly's glass seaforms?
Okay, so I admit, I don’t have money for a Chihuly but would love to throw a few hundred to an artist that might be doing “similar” work or is at least an established and creative glass blower.

Chihuly’s work isn?t anything spectacular. Especially not his ?sea forms? I have seen Many similar pieces. It is not a difficult form for a glass artist to make. Depending on how much money you have to spend you could buy a similar piece. Places to look: if you are at all near a college that teaches glassblowing (most schools have annual sales), Nearby Glass studios, local galleries. Art galleries could not rely merely on people coming in from the street, and purchasing work. Usually a gallery has a handful of artist and collectors they represent. Trying to find works the collectors are interested in.
If you live in the middle of nowhere and do not have access to Art Schools, Galleries, Museums or Glass studios you could always shop online. Me personally, I would want to experience the presence of a piece before I purchased it.
