A Glass Mystery?
A detective walks into a room and finds Harry and Macy dead on the floor, next to them are fragments of broken glass and on the other side is a small pool of water. There is a couch facing them with a cat on it with its back hunched. The Detective suggests that Harry and Macy died of strangulation, how can this be?

The answers already been given, they were fish, but I thought I’d point out that they were supposed to have died from suffocation, not strangulation.

she’s right, the answer was already said, one of my teachers in elementary gave us this riddle once (we were too young to figure it out, so the teacher had to tell us). You will have a small chance of figuring it out unless if you heard it before.

Yes I knew this one too. There are many riddles like this. Here in Holland we make it into a sort of a game.. when you have a few friends around you tell them the riddle, and they can start asking questions, which you should only answer with yes, no, or irrelevant. It’s fun.
