Is there any way to work on acid etching printmaking without acids?
I live in an apartment and do not have access to acid baths, but I really miss printmaking. I’ve done reduction woodblock prints, but its just not the same.

ALES LOMBERGAR is one of the few artisans in Europe who still practice the ancient art of glass acid etching which flourished in the late 19th century. check out the system on the web google acid free etching and see if they will explain the system heard about if from another printmaker but don’t remember what they used check several well know printmaking ateliers and see if the mention it also I have the same prob but i take my plates to the local community college and etch them there good luck
